Position Overview

About the teamAt Asian Cougar, you’ll be part of our in-house creative marketing team. We work on an array of projects within our studio while also collaborating with a rotating roster of international and touring artists on special projects. The studio is truly a vibrant, inspiring, and collaborative environment that is always in-motion.
About the roleWe’re looking for a passionate Creative Studio Intern to help drive our content creation and production efforts. This role is an excellent opportunity for emerging artists and designers to gain hands-on experience on real-world projects with global reach. You’ll work closely with our design team, contributing your creative flair to projects while learning the ins and outs of our creative studio.You will:
  • Create and manage social media content: Plan posts, capture and edit photo/video, and produce engaging Reels and Stories.
  • Engage with the tattoo community: Respond to comments, interact with similar accounts, and connect with influencers, local businesses, and artists for collaborations.
  • Assist with graphic design: Work on merchandise, branding, marketing materials, and social media content.
  • Collaborate with artists and designers on multidisciplinary projects spanning tattoos, fashion, ceramics, and technology.
  • Help maintain the studio’s creative space by organizing materials, setting up for events, and general upkeep.
  • Join meetings and contribute ideas for projects, events, and community initiatives.

You have:
  • Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in any field of Design or Fine Arts, attending any college or university in Chicago, IL.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative work and a passion for art and design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with other design tools.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bonus points if you have experience in web, 3D, or AI design
